Treacherous Tides is an exciting board game designed for 3-6 players that combines strategy, luck, and treachery on the high seas. In this thrilling adventure, players take on the roles of ambitious pirates, each with their own unique captain's abilities, as they aim to amass the most treasure.
However, the true heart of Treacherous Tides lies in its devious nature. At any moment, another player can betray alliances, seize control of your ship, and claim your hard-earned loot for themselves. This creates an atmosphere of suspense and unpredictability, where careful planning and quick thinking are essential for success.
Using their captain's special skills, players must navigate the treacherous waters, outsmart opponents, and avoid dangerous obstacles like the legendary Kraken!
The game begins with players rolling dice to assemble their ship, acquire a flag, and recruit a crew. Armed with these resources and their captain's unique abilities, they set sail on a perilous journey to uncover hidden treasures scattered across the game board. The objective is to collect as much treasure as possible while anticipating the mutinous intentions of other pirates.
